You have a right to have been annoyed cause I really felt that it was too early for her after Ronnie but I still felt liking unlike 3rd season was just too much the 3 seasons in a row of having her in a romance, plus 3rd season with Julian was a waste of everything and just cause of being a Potterhead where they wasted Tom's talent

I liked her with Ronnie obviously they were just soulmates and have a soft spot for The Amell's with how Robbie is Stephen's cousin than I started to appreciation to her with Jay where it even didn't feel too forced and felt "natural" PLUS than when he was revealed as ZOOM that actually increased my interest

Might just be me where I actually greatly enjoyed 2nd season might be a minority with it

She liked Jay the moment he showed up in 2x02. I thought it was too soon and misplaced but you're actually convincing me that they did work nicely and had cute moments.




I was upset that he was Zoom, so maybe it clouded me appreciating them after that or seeing it in an intriguing way.

I still don't think Julian made any sense. I knew it was happening though. The moment she invited him for Christmas because she did the same thing with Jay.




I do have high hopes that she will be single this season. Like they have filled their relationship quota. Barry and Iris are getting married, Cisco is in a committed relationship with Cynthia and Joe's still with Cecile.

I think this will be Caitlin's season to be the single one and explore storylines through the season that don't include romantic relationships.

I will always agree that her liking of Jay right away felt too soon but we don't even know how much time passed or I don't remember where it may have been told in Flash Day 2x01

I just felt that with Caitlin and Jay that it was slow development with a flow where when true love comes sometimes it hits like a brick wall even if something tradgy happened - so I forgave them related to Jay

I'm not easy to annoy or dislike something which is why my not appreciating Julian|Caitlin is huge - but anyways I know a lot of peeps predicted Jay and wasn't around the board than - so his reveal of Zoom was a shock plus his continued after the fact over Caitlin just made me think maybe she could redeem him or just was interested cause I love villains - so don't mind villains with my peeps

I agree about Julian because he lost any semblance of a storyline once he got interested in Caitlin. Zoom wasn't just the love interest though. He was the big bad of the season. In that instance it was Caitlin who got reduced to the girlfriend of someone they'd gonna reveal as a villain. A regular got used to further the storyline of a guest star and that didn't sit well with me That's one of the reasons why I find Caitlin/Hunter much much more problematic than Caitlin/Julian.

At first I wasn't against Caitlin/Jay even though Ronnie had been dead for six months. Looking back, I think Caitlin let go of her guilt over Ronnie's death once she had her convo with Barry at Mercury Labs, so her crushing on Jay soon after that didn't bother me that much. It was cute at times and they had nice chemistry. The problem is that they kept cutting scenes that served as a build-up to the romance so the whole thing started feeling extremely forced. The Zoom reveal was probably the final nail in the coffin. I couldn't get behind that kind of toxic relationship. I probably would have been more interested in a passionate romance with Zoom and Killer Frost. Both villains

It's pretty weird that TPTB cut scenes that would have helped built the Caitlin/Jay romance more, which could have helped me get into them a little bit more. An Zoom/Killer Frost romance would definitely be an interesting storyline lol.

Zoom and Julian aren't even considered ships to me. They were just rebounds, no real romance. They truly need to keep her single this season.

They do need to keep her single but anything can be a ship that people ship Jay[Zoom] and Julian are canon even if we may dislike part or all of it

Hunter was a psycho but Julian was a good person. It's fine if people don't ship it but I don't see how he's worse than Caitlin

Actually he wanted her arrested and forced Barry to quit his job as a CSI. No he's not a good person. Caitlin is better than these weak men.

Julian was doing his job. He didn't know Caitlin at the time and she'd broken the law. So as someone who works for the CCPD he should have wanted her arrested because that's his job. Then he made the poor judgement of forcing Barry to quit which he apologized for later and was forgiven.

So is Caitlin not a good person for lying to the team about her reasons for wanting Julian to join. Is she a bad person for taking the Philosopher Stone and not telling anyone?

Or are those things acceptable because Caitlin is allowed excuses and reasons for her behaviour while everyone else isn't?

I am not a fan of Julian or Snowbert but he's certainly not less than Caitlin by any means.
