I just get bored when TV writers make women subjective to men. The CW has a habit of turning women into guy crazy doormats.

Romance is fine, but it should never be the only focus or the only source of validation for a character, especially female characters .

Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to give Caitlin a revolving door of boyfriends every season.

I agree romance is fine and a consistent love interest is a given even a want in TV. It's just Season 1 it was Ronnie, Season 2 Jay and Season 3 Julian.

I hope they stick to this being her single season. They better not get any ideas with the Elongated Man.

The constant revolving door of love interests is getting annoying, tbh. She doesn't need to have a new one every season, she should stay single this season, focus on herself and maybe meet someone next season and have that last seeing as there's no chance she'll be single forever.

I wonder if there will be flashbacks of what she's been up to during the time jump. They would help understand the transition to this new Caitlin in my opinion.

Yes the revolving romance door has been annoying I appreciated and loved her with Ronnie but than its just been constant giving her love interests

This. I agree. I never viewed Ronnie as a love interest tbh. He was half of Firestorm, an engineer with history with "Wells", Cisco and even Hartley as well, and Star Labs.

I do consider Julian and Zoom just love interests.

Than felt defining trait = Zoom yea-ish related to Jay before he "died" and revealed Zoom but even during 2nd season related to the Jay|Zoom and Caitlin - felt that was well done and balanced

Yeah you're prob right, I guess I was just annoyed with him because their romance did not feel natural or necessary, more like they just had to saddle her with a love interest.

I was too harsh on Zoom, my annoyance with their romance influenced it The episode about his parents and the orphanage is one of the scariest episodes of the flash I think
