There's a rumor that she's leaving the Flash. Is it true?

I don't think she's leaving, where did the rumors even start from?

I don't know but I don't want anyone to leave. Except Wells I'm sure we'll get a new one next season.

I loved her interview, how cute, humble and professional at the same time, how much she after this process in directing an episode, gave credit to everyone involved in the process in bringing the series to life and I loved that she dismissed any doubt that she will be in the season 6 of The Flash and maybe we can see Caitlin loving someone again in season 6, hopefully if it is not for Ronnie the series can introduce Ryan Choi, her current romantic interest in comics.
And I loved the episode, she did a great job, and she can direct it again in season 6. __________________

Curious, why some people keep saying that when Jesse Warn, Millicent Shelton, Rachel Talalay, Alice Troughton, Alexandra La Roche, Nina Lopez-Corrado (and that's just to name a few on The Flash) have all directed.
It's like saying Tom Cavanaugh was the first male director in Arrowverse. I don't get it. __________________

But I go deeper, these names you mentioned are not known to the general public, but they are important, especially women, who I believe have had to work 2 times more to conquer what they have today. But if we are to talk in terms of gender, men are more in demand than women (even more so if we consider the scenario of years ago) and it is through examples of more public figures that take the first step that brings more visibility to a greater number of women in positions such as directing a series or a film. Let me cite some examples: Laura Innes, who played Dr. Kerry Weaver in ER directed 12 ER episodes, beginning in 1999 and continued to direct other productions; Chandra Wilson, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey began directing on Greys Anatomy in 2009 and has accumulated 20 episodes in that position, having directed 1 episode of Scandal and 3 of The Fosters; Mariska Hargitay who plays Lieutenant Olivia Benson in Law and Order SVU began directing in 2014 and has 6 episodes and she is executive producer on the series as well; Lucy Liu who plays Joan Watson on Elementary (role that would originally be male) began directing in 2014 and accumulates 6 episodes and has directed 1 episode of Law and Order SVU; And some other examples: Monica Raymund, who played Gabby Dawson in Chicago Fire directed 1 episode of Law and Order SVU last year; A.J. Cook who plays J.J. in Criminal Minds directed her first episode last year and her colleague and best friend Kirsten Vangsness who plays Penelope Garcia has not directed yet but began writing episodes in 2015 and has accumulated 5 episodes since then. These are examples that inspire more women to go to these positions and gain more space, thus making more women in these positions, as well as in the movies, as Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel. You talked about Tom Cavanaugh, but in his case it's the same as what happened with Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder on TVD and Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins on Supernatural, just an actor who wanted directing and how it's natural to have several male directors, but when it happens with a woman is always an event because it is different, because work is always charged differently. So when we see an actress like Danielle Panabaker who did what she did is a sign of commemoration, as she is another woman who has managed to conquer another step in her profession and this inspires other girls and women to follow the same. __________________
