Iris leading the team is one of the best decisions the show-runners ever made. I feel like it's easier for them to integrate her into the A plot now and it also gives her agency.

Great decision by the writers, if they insist on everyone being pigeonholed in STAR Labs. Iris has always thought fast on her feet, been strong willed and determined -
the perfect position for her is leader of Team Flash.

Making her the leader was a great idea but having her quit her job would be terrible so I need the show to address it. I'm tired of fakes and white feminists acting all superior because Iris has been reduced to an unemployed woman who threw away her career to be at her husband's workplace (not that the Flash is a job and STAR Labs is anyone's workplace but that's a different story...). The last thing I need is for those people to be proven right

I absolutely agree with this....I cannot get on board with Iris dropping her career to be at STAR LABS all the time...that is not cool and not a message the writers should be sending to girls (the younger demo they cater to)....I’m actually quite embarrassed that this is the only way they could give her agency on this show, and saying “I don’t know why this didn’t occur to us sooner” just confirms how out of touch they are....like I get if they don’t want her to be a carbon copy of the Iris in the comics...but she spent 3 yrs as a journalist and was just talking about having a goal to win a Pulitzer in 3x12 so please don’t throw that out the window
