Iris and Caitlin are going to have real scenes together since like season 2! Imo they don't have much on-screen chemistry with each other so i'm curious to see how it turns out.

I feel that the fault of this is because they did not have sufficient screen time to develop this, I believe that now in this next episode it should change.

Which could also be a result of not having many scenes together? Not filming together much means less opportunity to talk, maybe.

Always hoping that they get some actual development. The two characters have a lot of potential for a good friendship IMO.

I thought it was just me who felt this way but yeah it was really evident in the second to last scene where they have that awkward convo about not really being friends haha I was like 🙄 the tension in this scene is palpable and these ladies can not wait to get this over with haha...it’s most definitely because they hardly work together, for seasons 1&2 iris was hardly in star labs and in season 3 she was glued to the loft/dying in the street so there really hasn’t been much time for her to hang out with Danielle but they just seem like they like different things anyway...nothing wrong with that, it’s just their chemistry is lacking — whereas the 3 scenes Candice shared with Malese you can tell they enjoy each other’s company.

They pointed out they've kinda just been work friends so if they acknowledge it and don't change it will be weird. Here's a set given her MOH status.

it was a 1 minute cutaway of Caitlin asking Iris if she’s seeing Barry in a new light. & Iris asking if she believes in people being destined to be together..
