No rest for the weary in 2016 ... at least as far as Rory is concerned. He's going to be on display or filming in (count 'em) 6 projects that I know of, possibly more when he has a minute he's not otherwise occupied.
Concert - Songs of the Sea 1 April, he's contributing readings of poetry and prose accompanied by an orchestra, followed by an actor's workshop on 2 April Penny Dreadful Season 3 1 May The Threepenny Opera at the Olivier (National Theatre) 18 May - 31 August With a 45 minute talk about playing Macheath in June The movie iBoy, which is filming now Season 3 of Count Arthur Strong for BBC1 at some point And, last but not least, announced today is a full season of the new medical comedy Quacks in which he plays an arrogant surgeon that he filmed the pilot for last summer for BBC2 BBC2 comedy Quacks: Mathew Baynton, Rory Kinnear and Tom Basden star as a surgeon, an anaesthetist and a psychiatrist in 1860s England |
