So far we haven't even gotten as far as to give Avery more than 1 minute of screen time. I wouldn't worry about major issues just yet. I'd be happy to just see him on screen for awhile for a change

My assumption is, they will go on with this garbage till the last 1-2 eps and then they will suddenly develop some real drama for them and it gets a cliffhanger.

I'm still hanging in here, though I don't hold out much hope for anything J&A-related during the Rayna stuff coming up. So in the meantime, I was just wondering what everyone's favorite ep is? (Or has this been discussed a million times?)

Mind is 213, an obvious choice, I know. But Juliette was just too cute when she came over his house with her pink macaroni. I also like the ep where they are street buskers. I don't remember the number. More recently, I love 504 where Avery picks her up and carries her into the bedroom. The smile on Juliette's face is great.

I love 214, 210, 222 and 215 the most. The order changes day to day for me. 210 cause it's the game changer. The 214 for the humor and cute domestic stuff, 222 for One Light Shining and the great acting and finally 215 for supportive of each others music and smilie/happy J/A.

I love 215 where she came by the Bluebird, and he said he would kiss her wherever and whenever he wanted. I also loved when Deacon asked them if they were a thing and they both got a little embarassed. Good choice.

I'm surprised you said 222. The song was great, but it was not a happy ep for our couple!

The stuff you named for 215 is in 214. 222 is one of the strongest acting wise for both of them as well as one of the Times she is the most open with herself for him. One of my favorites to rewatch.

^Oops. I meant to say 214. But I also like 215 a lot too. And you're right about how open Juliette is in 222. There was some really good acting in that last scene between them too.

Favorite episodes....
202 - when they go to Alabama - feels like this was a very important event in their friendship and helped them grow closer
210 - when Avery saves her onscreen during the HOMEWRECKer banner catastrophe and she realizes she loves him
212 - this is the busking episode where Avery goes to get Juliette out of her drunk stupor and encourages her.
222 - Because of the cute scenes in the beginning and the amazing acting in the breakup scenes.
309 - when Juliette spies on Avery - simply because Hayden was hilarious and they have a cute making up scene at the end.

Favorite one of all is probably 210 - so many great moments, I think I love just about every scene that they share in this episode.

And I have to say I actually really loved 501 for J/A. If the writing had stayed that way we would have had a great first half, unfortunately only one couple got that and it wasn't us. Oh well maybe things will be better in the second half.

501 was really good. I watched it again last night. Such a shame.

Yes it was written well. Though the screentime imbalance already started there. But it was by far better than now. As of now I think S4 was better. You may disagree. But i rather watch a lot of screwed up Javery which is depressing and exaggerated, ok but at least something, than a few seconds here and there of nonsense Javery. In S4 they could at least show their great talent and they were the only actors to get an award nom for their performance. With the current season they can't show any talent at all. In 8 eps they each had one song and just sit around and do nothing apart of complaining about each other and Juliette visiting this church.
This whole season feautures too little musical performances, is imbalanced and has mediocre story writing esp for non deyna couples.

Well this was the most in character J/A have been written in a long time, where have these people been hiding? The writer who wrote it was from the old team, he should write all the episodes from now on and Callie should direct them all. Too bad it took the saddest episode of the series for J/A to finally reappear.

jb, I totally agree. This was The Best episode for our beloved Juliette and Avery characters. They were finally back to their old selves.....cute, feisty, funny. For the first time this season, I felt like they actually liked each other....maybe even loved each other.
