I love JJ but I just can't tolerate the host. Somebody give me the highlights please. I might try to take it in small bits a little later.

Highlights are pretty much him praising Hayden a few times. Dude obviously loves working with her. Mention of their working relationship. Him mentioning Tony and Genie his GH parents and how they are in every scene with him. Him and Chris having a hard time with the pinball machine game. Him having a hard time not breaking in the that's just my face scene and choosing that face and really giving all credits to Hayden. Him saying his fav stuff is the J/A stuff with Hayden and being the observer in group scenes. Him talking about Chip being the one that makes it hard not to break.

Jb, Thank You!! I just skimmed my way through it but...I could never watch this regularly. It would bring the episode down for me. The host constantly overtalked and interrupted JJ to the point where it was distracting. I wanted to hear HIM talking, not her. Maybe she just did that to him or has she done it the other weeks as well?

I did kind of have to laugh when the Lady Nashie of the Week said she knew that filming those make out scenes are awkward for him and he said they could be. Just depends.

She was like that the two previous week as well. She is horrible. And seriously interrupting J/A gushing to talk about Deyna and Rayna's legs. Like jeez. At least the people on the couch were J/A shippers. I kinda feel though (felt in in the Chip/Hayden interview as well) like Jonathan and Hayden think only Deyna shippers watch the show and J/A is an afterthought. Maybe they feel like that because of the imbalance towards Deyna/Deacon/Rayna airtime, I don't know but it feels like they have no clue people still ship them. That or they think they fans they had prior to s4 all left during it I don't know. I get the feeling they don't see it. They just love working together but don't see that they are popular because the other fanbase is louder and has more screentime.

I had a feeling JJ was refering to other people when he said they could be Not just prior Nashville people because I don't think his previous GH Partner was easy (not Becky).


Back to tonight episode of Nashville, I think officially after tonight, the way JJ delivered the ''I don't think you have any idea how much I love you'' line, it was even better than s2 finale, anyways the way he sold that line, no way will I ever buy him loving anyone else ever as much as he loves her. Funny watching this compared to s4B with that other one, it was like comparing undying love versus can a bus please hit me and put me out of my misery to get away from that child.

I can't wait to watch the episode. Following live tweets when I can't watch is torturous. I tried to watch parts of the live chat but my internet has been sucking lately and it kept cutting out. If someone watches later and can take note of what time in the interview does he talk about Hayden, that would be great

Normally I would do it happily cause I love to help but my gosh the host is so hard to listen to, I probably can only take her once per night... but since I love ya and I can't leave you hanging without the episode and the talk stuff so :

at 2:31 he talks about the face scene to 3:34

then 6:07 he talks about the character of Juliette and Hayden's portrayal to 6:49

16:59 are where he talks about his favorite scenes to film for the show and names J/A scene and talks about their working relationship to 17:56

18:19 talks about the babies that played Cadence (when they had multiples before settling on Nora and Andi) and Hayden and his reaction to that to 19:33

20:00 is where he is ask about how he uses his gift that god gave him and mentions Tony/Genie, his parents, his book and Hayden to 21:48 (my favorite part personally)

27:15 the javery shipper of the people there mentions her favorite J/A scene so we have his prospective on that to 28:27

Thanks from me too JB going to try and watch later now I can FF through. Why do they always get the most annoying people to host these programs- wish she would let the guests talk.

I watched the entire JJ interview on Nashchat. I didn't think the interviewer was that annoying, certainly not annoying enough to skip 30 minutes of JJ! My impressions: JJ is cute and charming. I've seen other interviews where he is kind of quiet and soft-spoken. He wasn't like that at all last night, which made it more fun.

- He joked around that he practed the "it's my face" scene in the mirror and then just decided to trust in the moment. He said Hayden was the one who sold the scene.
- He complimented Hayden a lot. Said she made his job easy. He talked a little about how they both started in soaps as kids so they had a similar way of approaching their work. He seems to really like her and respect her as an actor.
- Said the J&A scenes were his favorite. Talked about how comfortable they are with each other. The girl next to him, a superfan, commented on how the intimate scenes were probably the most awkward, and JJ just said they could be, kind of contradicting her.
- He said there are some songs coming up for Avery, but that's all he'd say.
- When the host joked about the hot scene at the end, he said J&A had an honest relationship.
- JJ is apparently a vegetarian--most of the year.
- He said that they tend to joke around between takes and not during ones very often, except with Chip who might do an improv kind of thing.
- It was hard to film the pinball scene because he had to actually play pinball, and he kept forgetting his lines.

Anyway, that's all I remember. It's better to watch the show, but if you can't, I hope this helps.

ETA: One thing I did find annoying with the host is that she didn't seem to like Juliette and made that clear. Plus she was a huge D&R shipper and seemed to assume everyone else was too. I think she should keep her opinions to herself! I've watched the Talking Dead aftershow, and the host of that never picks sides and is enthusiastic about everything, which is how it should be, imo.

But then, the best part was when the host turns to the two superfans and starts to say something like, "you like Deacon and Rayna too, or do you? Who do you like?" And they both said they liked Juliette and Avery the best! LOL (Actually the one woman liked J&A, the guy seemed to just like Avery, but same thing, imo)

That woman is annoying as hell. For me to skim through 30 minutes of JJ when I love his interviews, she had to be something else. She KEPT interrupting him. Kept talking over him and everybody else! I tried to watch it and then stopped and then tried again and couldn't get over how rude she was. He was professional and the two Nashie super fans were quiet until they were spoken to for the most part but the way she runs that show does not make for enjoyable viewing IMHO.

Totally agree. Why did they even pick this woman to host? Surely there were better choices out there. I heard Kourtney wanted to do it, and this is who they should have let do it. Wonder if Nashies are loud enough in their dislike of this host if they would replace her. How rude to state she was a Deyna fan and not Javery fan?

If Kourtney did it I'd watch but I doubt I ever will again with this host. I'll soldier through if Hayden does it, probably skimming through for the good bits. I'm curious how this host would be with Clare or Sam. Obviously Connie or Chip would send her into orgasmic delight and she probably would be speechless but I'd like to see her with some of the other cast just to see if she continues "hosting" the show in this same strange way.

Overall ep was kind of boring for me too. And next week does NOT look at all interesting.
