I have a question about Deacon. I'm a relatively new fan, but I have watched all the eps at least twice. Anyway, in S2, Deacon's hand is so bad, he's given up being a lead guitarist and has to recruit others to play for him, like Avery. Then it seems by the end of the season, that's not an issue anymore and he can play as well as before the accident. In S3, Avery gets him to play on Sadie's album becuase he's such a good guitar player. So obviously he's recovered. But it seems to have happened off screen.
It went from being a huge issue--he even tried to sell his guitars. (Did we ever learn if he actually sold them?) To something not even talked about. Did I miss something? |

He did go to the doctor Juliette for him...I'm not sure if he ever did sell those guitars. Probably just another dropped plot point. I don't think you're missing anything.

It was mostly dropped. There was one scene when he was doing his little tour later in S2 where he was icing his hand after the show. I assume that was meant to imply that even though his hand was better enough to play it was still hurting him some but they didn't make that big of a thing about it

And I saw this on YT but the noise around makes it really difficult to listen to. His interview starts at 1:00, nothing about season 5 (if that's what you're waiting for while watching ). |

Was just thinking about some timeline details... so if Scarlett was pretty young when her grandmother died that wouldn't have made Deacon that old when his mother died... probably somewhere in the same range as Scarlett when Beverly died... and also probably right in the middle of his in and out of rehab years, so that surely didn't help

It's a shame Frankie turned out to be a terrible human because Mark seems to be a nice guy who got along well with the cast

^ I really liked Mark Collie. He's been in the music business for a long time. And when he first came on the show was a good friend to Deacon.

Agree about Frankie was so strange how he went so bad so fast ! All that crap with Cash was just odd. |
