I liked the movie and I probably would have enjoyed the arc more if it didn't take over all the flashbacks. Regina didn't even get a centric in 4a because she had no connection to that storyline. She did get a lot with the Queens of Darkness in 4b though, so there's that.

We are up through 4x18 now, the Robin Hood centric and Marilena reveal, and it was no less painful the second time. The show finally surprised my daughter. She had no idea it was coming and was making a horrified face through the entire last half of the episode.

There was a lot of talk at the time about whether or not Zelena might have slipped Robin some of that elixir to get him to change his feelings so quickly. She had said just before to Rumple that she couldn't win his heart. I think the show wanted us to believe that talk with Rumple changed him, but I don't see it. I know he loved the real Marian in the past, but he told Gold she was like a stranger now. I'm keeping the headcanon that she kept some of the elixir back before giving it to Rumple and used it on Robin. Nothing else makes sense to me.

I get so frustrated by s4 rewatches, lol. Except for a few scattered scenes and an episode here or there, it's just a painful reminder of what could have been but wasn't after 3B. I am not a Frozen fan either. Don't hate it but I wasn't big on it.

I didn't mind 4x01 - 4x16 too much other than all the Frozen flashbacks in the first half, but I would be happy to skip the end of 4b and all of season 5. Unfortunately my daughter's plan for watching does not include skipping seasons and since we are doing this together, I'm in, even for the parts I don't like. I will be relieved when we get to season 6 though because it was less angsty overall for me.

Getting through 5A was a real snoozefest when I did a rewatch with my dad. I seriously found myself zoning out and getting distracted with my phone. For me, s5 is the worst.

We finished season 4 tonight. I enjoyed the Heroes and Villains AU except for the part where Robin marries Zelena. I remember I was considering quitting the show after season 4 because I was so mad about Zelena being pregnant and then when I heard the apprentice say the Sorcerer was Merlin, I was right back on board for season 5. Camelot did not go at all how I hoped, but I did enjoy 5x02.

We are up to 5x14 now, the Snow, Hecrules, and Megara episode. My daughter did not enjoy the Camelot arc, I think she spent most of the time we were watching it playing on her phone.

I really enjoyed re-watching the 100th episode. Regina's scenes with her father in the underworld are so good.

I am dreading having to watch Robin die again. I've never re-watched that episode.

The phone is salvation during those times. I didn't care for the Camelot arc either. Dark Swan|Hook bored me to tears but I also thought the dark one mythology was a let down. I expected more and I also expected it to be told from the POV of Rumple's background story, not Emma's. Rumple was the freaking dark one for 4 seasons already, I felt he was cheated not being the central character of focus for this story. This was around the time I got frustrated, starting in s4 (a little in 3B) where I felt they started taking all the narratives and forced them to be Emma's.

I think Rumple should have been the focus of the dark one mythology as well.

We watched up through "Last Rites" tonight and I'm just glad we're through it and I never want to watch that episode again. I cried, my daughter cried, and now I feel sad all over again, so I need to find something happy to watch to shake it off.

It is very sad to have to watch Robin die. Poor Regina's face - it was stuck someplace between shock & disbelief.

I don't know what kind of message the writers were trying to send with that death. It certainly wasn't hope. While it was a testament to their love & soulmate connection that Robin was so willing to take Regina's place & die, the soul obliteration just killed it.

We have watched through 6x06 now. It was a relief to be done with season 5. My son is watching some of it now too. Not every episode, but he watches when he's around and we fill him in on what he missed. I'm surprised he likes it.

This is my daughter after watching 6x11 where wish Robin has appeared and traveled back to SB with Regina.

We are up through 6x15 and the split queen and wish Robin stories are over.

When wish Robin was joined in the wish realm by the Queen in 6x14 my daughter says "OH COME ON!! Evil Regina gets a happy ending with Robin and good Regina doesn't????"

I really enjoyed re-watching that episode though. Lana's acting was fantastic and I can only imagine the amount of work she put into this episode with all the stunts and body doubles that must have been needed.

The only thing I didn't like was that Regina all but said that Robin wasn't her happy ending. We know he wasn't ALL of it. Henry is the most important person in her life and she loves her friends and family too, but it felt like Robin was dismissed as someone who was just passing through her life rather than her canon soulmate. Aside from that part, I loved that episode.
