I hope there is something important we're missing because from what I've seen, she's getting the same ending she got in season 6, just on a grander scale, and we've already seen that once Henry left home, those things didn't make her happy. Regina craves love and companionship, she's not going to get that from a crown. Queens are usually lonely and under tremendous pressure, so I just can't see that as a happy ending for her.
