It could definitely be a dream. Regina just seems so... cold and detached. This is season 1 Madam Mayor. If it is real, it's certainly not how I expected her to act after 3B. But maybe that's just wishful thinking, it's only a 20s clip after all.

I try not to think about that spoiler too much because it really gives me headache. Really hoping for a dream, if it's not I really don't know how I am supposed to hoping for Regina be with Robin and Roland when her first idea when problem occured is to kill Roland's mom because she is in a way of her happiness, the smirk on her face in the video does not help.

I would really hate the writers if they did this to my favorite character especially after all her development.

So be it a dream, please!

Exactly. I honestly was not at all on board with the dream theory until I saw the clip. It really looks like a dream to me, but as you said, the clip is very short. Also, the actor who plays Sidney said he only filmed for one day (source) and didn't know if he'd be back, so I'm assuming he'll only be on for one episode. That's not enough time to carry out much of a plan, esp since we know the premiere is going to be very Frozen centric.

Like sherry02, I also wasn't on board with the dream theory either until I saw the clip. If it was real, wouldn't she be more emotional, desperate, angry, out of her mind to even think something like that? Not this cold calculated facade with an evil smirk in the end when she's planning to get rid of Robin's wife and Roland's mother. This clip is just too weird to be real.

I'd love it if Sidney was back on the show, but if the actor only filmed for one day, it's more possible that it's a dream.

I don't think it would be her memories because she could make up a potion for that. She would need Sidney for something she can't or doesn't want to do herself. I just really want this to be a dream because I don't want the Regina of S1 back. There's been way too much progress made for that.

Nah, we won't get s1 Regina back, she has come to far for that. As i said she can pretend and get her walls back up but Regina is not evil anymore, she's just heartbroken and in pain.

I don't think it's a flashback. Regina's hair is the length it is now. It was much shorter in S1. Plus Sidney looks rough, like he's been in there a long time.

The only thing that for now speaks againts the dream theory is that Lana keeps telling in interviews that Regina has a plan. I hope she means something different than this.
