Yeah, I knoticed the looks of Regina as well and interpreted it the same way...

I really doubt they would make Regina and Rumple hooking up... definitely not with their memories... the worst they would is probably have them be a couple (not happy one) in some cursed indentities which I don't want either but it's not like these charactres would have a much choice in that if they were given fake memories...

I don't see anything like that happening with them either. Storybrooke Regina has never shown any romantic interest in him, nor he in her.

Yeah, somebody on the writing staff must have been a secret shipper because that was NOT written for the fans. Nor was it based off of prior canon.

Seeing that first gif reminds me that in one of the early season 1 episodes (maybe the pilot or episode 2, but the one where Regina appears in Rumple's cell), we saw her shape shift from a rat into her human form. I don't think she ever did it again after that. Shape shifting would be a really useful power to have. I wonder if they just forgot about it.

True, Sherry, and I think it took awhile to learn because I remember in a flashback, s3 The Evil Queen I believe, she wanted to disguise herself to get close enough to Snow and kill her but Rumple told Regina it even took Cora awhile to acquire the magical ability to shapeshift. He ended up disguising her himself but I do remember Regina did it when she pretended to be the old hag with Jefferson & his daughter.

I do love their scenes and I do agree that SB Regina and even Rumple have no romantic feelings for each other. Their relationship needs to stay platonic and more family based now they have Henry as that connection,
