And I think the tweet was deleted a bit after. Perhaps bc Lana was signed in her acc and then they didn't realize that until a bit later?

It seems like everyone's mood is lighter now with the holidays in full force. It's their first Christmas as a married couple. A family for real! I'm sure it will be special.

I know we're all about Fred and Lana but I get the feeling the situation with his ex is amicable. And when I look at that picture as a mom myself, I'm reminded that somewhere another mom had to have Christmas without her babies. I really hope this situation is really working out for everyone involved.

^ Well that could've just been then, their mom might've been able to see them and spend time with them. We don't know.

The ex is in Canada. Lana, Fred and the kids were in California with Lana's mom, sister and her family. The boys (Fred's youngest and one of Lana's nephews) posted Instagram photos together several days leading up to Christmas, and they were still there at Christmas. The boys were with Fred and Lana for at least the week leading up to, and including Christmas.

I would assume they get to spend the New Year with their mom, freeing Fred and Lana up to do whatever they want together for New Year's. And next year Fred and Lana will presumably not get his kids for Christmas.

Ohh I didn't know that. Since I hadn't much time to check the days up to Christmas.
But why do you think they won't get the kids next Christmas? Taking turns??

Yes, taking turns. They have joint custody, which is technically supposed to mean the kids live with each parent 50% of the time. Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas would most likely be swapped every other year. Obviously I don't know their specific arrangement, but that would be typical for this type of custody arrangement. Of course the oldest is now 18 and in college, so he's free to be with whoever whenever he chooses. But with 2 younger brothers as long as it's him coming home for the holidays I would think he could go along with where his brothers are to make things easier. But technically it's just the two boys they have to work things out for now.

Anyway, excited for New Year's Eve. Wonder if we'll get another picture?
