About the I've enjoyed... it might be some kind of slang... like, "I've always enjoyed..." as opposed to "I always enjoyed..."

Of course she has enjoyed her time as Beckett. That doesn’t mean she won’t enjoy more, it just means she’s has enjoyed her time as Beckett to his Castle. Just a nice way to compliment how nice it has been to play opposite him for years now. On the man’s birthday, no less.

It’s called “present perfect” which signifies an event that has begun at an unspecified time in the past and continues to the present point. It is also used to describe an experience, an accomplishment, or something that has happened over a period of time. It does not necessarily signify or imply any kind of end, particularly not in the sentence she used. If people lose their **** over grammar, at least get it right. Oy vey.

Thanks for posting that, Kathrin. Stana has posted a lot of tweets like that over the years and they kinda freak me out so it's nice to have something like those to clarify and calm me down.

Thanks for that! I remember last year Stana had a tweet that made the fandom think it wasn't coming back as well. She likes to tease us sometimes but this year is different.

Why is this year different? I'm a little out of the loop as to how the show and behind the scenes has been going.

This year is different because it's up to Stana and Nathan signing contracts for a season 8. ABC has released a statement that they want Castle to return but at this point it's about the contracts. It's in her hands. To me I would be sad if Castle didn't come back and Stana didn't sign but she gave us 7 wonderful seasons more than most shows get and I understand if she wanted to do different projects and not sign.

Me too...I've been hearing about seems like a lifetime because everywhere I go everyone is like saying is this the last season or we need a season 8. I'm trying to think positive and have some hope.
