^Phew I'm glad that didn't sound completely wrong then. He did mention yesterday he hopes they don't send me an hour away again like they did Amaya for appointments and to give birth. I made the comment of if they did how would he care or be affected and he just gave me a funny look so it's hard to say just where he stands or how he feels . I guess time will tell.

I haven't watched the race yet as I had to work late, but I'm so happy!

Work has me confused! My manager came to me at 2:30 p.m. to ask if I could stay late tonight (I was scheduled to get off at 3 p.m.). I said sure, but I'd need to go get something to eat because I didn't bring lunch. He proceeds to hand me his cellphone and told me I'll buy you lunch. Order whatever on DoorDash. He was joking around me and everything today. So, what's with the no hours????!!!!

That is weird, Candace. Are they cutting back for now as they know they'll have to pick up again soon as a way to even out the hours? Walmart used to do that, cut us in October but around Thanksgiving we were given full time hours plus. That's really odd (his behavior).

^That's been one of my theories. It doesn't usually go this late. They have hired a few people, so they usually get all the hours at first to you know kind of give them this false sense. I'm starting to think maybe that plus the saving before holidays is all contributing to the current situation.

^ and to see if they can handle it without the seniors there. Walmart used to give seasonal and temps the hours from September til near the end of November and than us regulars went sky high in hours.

^Okay, now that's interesting. It actually fits the timeline with my store. It's part of the reason I'm not jumping to do anything right now as next week is Black Friday week.

I'm listed at what you call open availability, so no hours contract...company doesn't do that. Before the current manager came in, the hours max was actually much, much lower, which was just their rules, not a company policy.

I keep thinking next week is Thanksgiving week

I’m confused by this month too, my birthday falls on the week of thanksgiving (not that we celebrate it here) and I got a birthday card and presents in the post today and I was like wait a minute, what date is it?! Turns out my friend just mailed them super early

I get that with the time. This past Sunday I kept thinking it was Wednesday . I am glad time seems to be going at a pretty steady pace though, before we know it, it'll be Christmas and New Years and honestly I can't wait. This year has been one of the best yet worse and I am really hoping nothing but good things for everyone in 2021 so yeah time can hurry up

Quite a few houses I’ve seen when I’m out and about have Christmas tree’s and lights up already. I think the general feeling is, 2020 sucks we may as well just put the Christmas stuff up

It’s really not. A house near my children’s father and near my aunt are decorated already. At the same time though it’s been so nice out here that it’s the time for outdoor decorating so can’t judge either house . I’m all for it, after the year we’ve had we gotta be happy especially with a potential lockdown coming for NY again and you ladies. I’m sure driving or walking to check out the decorations will be nice
