My weekend was interesting. Saturday, I had to hang around and change my schedule up to stay home while my mom went to a Baby shower.

My Dad is not handling recovery well. Let me preface this by saying...my Dad hates being inconvenienced. He's is pain, not from the surgery, but because he can't take Aleve (bleeding risk). He DOESN'T deal with pain well. He told my Mom last Saturday night, he was going to get coffee on Sunday and my Mom was like No, you are not. My Mom has had to resort to HIDING the Aleve in fear he would take it.

Needless to say, we have been caught off guard by his behavior.

So I can't remember if I ever mentioned or not back around March or Aprilish I got a text message from someone who had the wrong number. We ended up continuing to text and at one point, him, Amaya and I were going to go to the park and than him and I were going to go to the movies but both times I came up with a million excuses as to not go. So the other day, Amaya's Uncle came to get us to bring us to his moms, this was the first time him and I had been alone, typically his mom or sisters or one of the other kids would be around. Anyways he asked me about the person I used to text and how we were suppose to go out, so I asked him how he knew about that and come to find out it was him the whole time. I can't get over the fact that I almost went out with my daughter's uncle and that we had been speaking way before he know of Amaya's existence, apart of me wishes I could go back in time just to tell him lol.

It really was . I can only imagine the awkwardness when I brought Amaya over for the first had I actually gone out with him . But he really is good with her and brings her everywhere so I can't complain .

Haha yeah this being down made Sunday drag. I had to work and I usually come on during breaks and lunch so the work day really was a drag .

Me and my friend were supposed to go to an outdoor theatre performance by a lake last night but sadly it was cancelled (the cast's bus broke down ) so we went out to a Chinese restaurant instead and then watched some more RuPaul's Drag Race at mine. A good night even if it wasn't what we planned.
