My wee/day is just normal. Since I'm not in a relationship and we don't celebrate Valentine's day here it was a normal day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone . I went to work today, Sunday we'll be going out for our belated Valentine's Day brunch and I gave the kids their gifts. Amaya threw the worst tantrum to date as she took her new crayons and colored all over the walls (I said no and took the crayons you would have thought I yelled at her the way she carried on ).

I actually forgot that I promised my mom I would accompany her tonight to go pick my sister up from the airport. She's getting in quite late tonight after a big fiasco with the airline.

Yeah I don't think I like this stage . And to top it off the girl doesn't sleep, she gets up at 5am and stays up with no naps so tonight I put her to bed at 6 . She's the easiest to wake up when we're going somewhere's because shes always wide awake before the alarm, it's why I enjoy traveling with her-she sleeps haha.

Aww where was she coming in from? If it was anywhere near the East Coast they were delaying trains, planes and buses due to the storms we've had left and right.

Ahh okay, I was gonna say we've been getting hit left and right which put off a lot of flights and had many upset people .

Yeah I do but once the nicer weather hits it'll be easier. I can't stand being outside in the cold longer than ten minutes so she doesn't go outside much right now (but when she does she makes it last an hour by running in the opposite direction every time so I usually give up and give in )

Yes, my sister got in just fine last night. She got in at 9:30, but boy, was she still ranting about the whole fiasco. Sh's working from home today. She has to write an email or a letter explaining all that happened and should get some some consolation.

I hope everyone is having/had a good Thursday.

My mom and I finally cooked the chicken tortilla soup. We tasted it while we were cooking it and it is really good. It's so funny to discover how much of a whimp when it comes to spicy my mom has become! She tried and a little and she's like "Oh man, that is really spicy." I try it and I'm like "That's not that spicy. It's really really good." We also made some buffalo cauliflower. That was definitely a learning experience for both of us!

I also was able to score a ticket to go see Casting Crowns (a Christian band) in May. I'm so excited!!!! I wasn't able to get close as I wanted. This will be like the fifth time I've seen them!

That sounds good, Candace! Are you enjoying cooking more and more? We're having bacon cheeseburgers (though I could go for a pizza burger) tonight and my moms going to make homemade fries (because I refuse to touch a deep fryer or cut potatoes like that ). I just bought her the copper pan set (6-n-1) that she wanted so hopefully we can try that this weekend.

So glad you were able to snag the tickets! We have a few good concerts heading up our way and that never happens . This weekend there's a 90s band concert (Vanilla Ice, Salt n Peppa and a few others) then we have All American Rejects, Luke Bryan and a few others coming up. The state fair usually goes all out on concerts so I'm hoping we get some who I've been dying to see (the best one we ever had there was Flo Rida the guy can put on a show and is very interactive with the fans).
