I'm doing pretty good. I'm ready for the weekend. I have had to go in early Monday and tomorrow, which has been a little difficult. At least, I've gotten off early since I was able to switch shifts with the co-teacher I've been helping cover for. My old job, I would work their shift and then mine resulting in 11-12 hour days WITH a one hour break.

It was hard to come up with her name (was actually going to be Gracelyn Elise til I googled 'A' names I think Amaya Rose fits a lot better and suits her better plus its meaning is one of my favorite things "night rain"-favorite weather and time of day). Your right about the rush performance tickets I've decided if I go down it'll be the 27th (still debating until I actually buy the tickets to get to and from ). I'm sure there will be more opportunities now too since Stana has her foot in the door for broadway.

I'm ready for the weekend too, I have some decent hours this week so now I'm exhausted . I go in late tomorrow, early Friday, off Saturday (water park here I come) and then I believe I go in at 5am Sunday...I missed having my days off back to back this week.

Whoop Whoop! I'm ready for the weekend!

This week has been a little challenging on the job front. This one kid has been causing a lot of stress and frustration. I was told today that tomorrow is his last day as the director asked that he leave the center. He was a danger to the other kids and was hitting, kicking and spitting at me. One parent pulled their child on Monday and 5 more parents complained to admin about their kids complaining that this child was "mean" and school was "scary".

My co-teacher and I both feel like now we can begin to get the classroom in order! I'm looking forward to Monday and seeing how different the room will be and the dynamic of the kids.

They probably need the right school, or other help they can get so they don't feel the need to kick, hit and spit at other people.

But, I'm glad you can work on order in the classroom now

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

The kid I was talking about what sent home at 1:00 p.m. because we was horrible ALL morning and then proceeded to refuse to stay on his cot at naptime. I tried to get him to and he wanted to run around the room and then hit, kick and spit in my face. I called the front and they took him out of the room. 45 minutes later his mom walked in and gathered all his stuff and left.

So, my afternoon was so calm and not chaotic. I got a glimpse at how it will hopefully be from now on. There are still issues, but these kids are three years old, so they have a lot to learn and mature.

I can say that after the events of the last two weeks, that I LOVE this age and my job. My hours are great, the commute is a breeze and after getting my first paycheck, the pay is fabulous! SO much better than what I was getting at the other place!

That's awesome, Candace!! Hope the boy goes to a school that'll be able to help him or if it's a household issue that it gets resolved quickly for him.

I'm on my way to the water park, we gotta use the passes from our camping trip a couple weeks ago. Its really muggy so hoping it doesn't rain.
