So I'm assuming that because the police didn't bother with a medical examination.

The end is super disturbing.

I kind of thought Joseph was involved throughout the film but the ending was still so shocking.

I did not expect it at all when I was watching it for the first time. I was so shocked. I said to everyone who wanted to hear it that Emma better not meet up with Joseph in the US

I'm guessing that's why he asked her when her boyfriend was arriving and didn't do anything because he knew that he was coming over.

A scary thought that he's going to the US though.

How awful for Emma that she was hanging out so much with the man who raped and murdered her best friend and didn't even know it.

It definitely seemed like he was hiding something, but I wasn't expecting the ending either when I first watched it.
