I love them together but I’m cautious. I don’t trust these writers, no one is happy in this show!

I don't think they'd give Cal the same fate as Tommy just because of Tommy's fate. Now maybe them going their seperate ways, but I don't think death.

There seems to have been (on the whole) a positive fan reaction to them so hopefully they’ll take notice of that.

as much as I loved Tommy with Emily, there is definitely a bigger reaction and fanbase to Emily and Cal.

^Hmm that gives me a ton of hope for season 3, I just hope Cal's past doesn't come back to bite him in the butt though.

I loved reading this part and what I deducted from it was that they would explore his character more thoroughly in a season 3. And maybe Emily can help him, they can figure each other out together, maybe.
