I always think we got so lucky to get to see her on a weekly basis (well, usually, or more often if you count rewatches ).

I wouldn't watch Castle if she hadn't intrigued me, or rather Beckett's mom's murder, so much. It pulled me into the series, and my love for Stana wasn't far.

It didn't take me long at all to get hooked. I just beat myself up for waiting for so long! For a while I didn't care to watch it. Didn't even give it a chance. But once I did, I fell in love!!! Got hooked and became a Stanatic seemingly over night!! I couldn't stop talking about Beckett...still can't!

Added you Ingrid. I could never imagine any other actress playing Kate. Stana works so well at portraying all the different aspects of her character.

Yeah same here. It was for these two reasons why I was drawn to the show. It may be called 'Castle' but it was always and has always been about Beckett for me.

And the backstory of her mother's murder just added so many layers to her.
