I liked it, too, I just never expected something so 'out there'. Anyway, already said that
 Yeah, Espo being kind of douchey - I guess he wants to protect Beckett in a way, but first, she doesn't need it, and second he might wanna give Castle the benefit of the doubt after all these years. He should know Castle would never do that to Kate consciously. __________________

Exactly, I get that he wants to protect Beckett and that's fine, but he should know better by now. Castle would do anything for Beckett.

Watched it last night, and yes, the explanation on Castle's disappearance was a bit "ookay"
 ... but it was nice to see Beckett's therapist back in the show  Nice episode overall  __________________

My favourite part of the episode was Beckett standing by Castle no matter what
 Although only short scenes, the Beckett/Alexis moments were awesome too!__________________

Yes. Alexis seems to adapt well to have Kate around as a female figure, in general, and for help in her personal life.
