that's a good question too, the she did it so often I would think it's probably more of a Stana thing though I don't think we've ever really seen her do that..

It was maybe an unconscious thing, crossing her arms while looking at the murder board and the writers picked up on it

. Or maybe Stana added it herself. I mean I've never really seen Stana herself do it but as Beckett it was a habit...lets see how Absentia season 2 is to see if it was a Stana thing or not
