Goodness! Okay, a lot to unpack for this one.

Loved the beginning, I kind of thought that Gunnerson shooting Emily might have been a dream when I saw that still released of Emily after being stabbed because Em getting shot and stabbed would be a bit much

I wonder why Emily is living in the basement, I guess they don’t have a spare room?

The dynamic with Emily, Nick and Flynn is cute albeit a little awkward for obvious reasons.

I don’t blame Emily for still being super paranoid though, it’s a huge adjustment. I felt bad for her when she heard Flynn talking about Alice but totally didn’t blame Flynn for that, it’s natural.

The family dinner was sweet, it was nice to see them all together and not fighting! Until Jack came that is. My heart really broke for Jack

That Emily and Cal scene!! I love their banter and how she’s happier around him yet still herself.

The women gossiping in the FBI was great and realistic.

I’m interested in seeing who has Nick and how it plays into the organ harvesting ring.

And Emily being stabbed, noooo! Poor Em.

I love that towards the end of the episode I was already on the edge of my seat. I've really missed this show

It was interesting to see Emily, Nick and Flynn living together.

Emily's been through so much, I don't blame her for being a little paranoid.

I felt bad for Jack when Emily found out about him and Alice

I'm still getting used to Cal, but I really enjoyed the scene with him and Emily boxing.

I figured Nick would get taken after watching the cast's insta live yesterday. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I missed this show!!

Oh boy, a lot of thoughts - I hope I can remember them all.

I was surprised that Emily is living with Nick and Flynn now. I mean, it makes sense, but still.
The morning routine was funnily awkward to watch (Emily picking lint off of Nick's suit was too wife-y for me, though...)

I didn't understand how they weren't show grieving over Alice. So, I guess 9 months passing is more likely than two.
But just as I thought 'Why aren't they acknowledging Alice is gone, Flynn said he misses mom.
I was relieved, if that makes sense.

Cal - aw man, I really, really like him. I noticed Matt is not third in the credits - wow, what a promotion!
He and Emily have nice banter and he just went to Em's house because she called for help/backup?

Why have they kept in contact over her suspension period anyway? Very cool they apparently hang out because they're more friends than only colleagues.

Emily's tumble down the stairs - that hit me (hahaha, pun intended) on a personal level and I thought: Nope, not fun falling down stairs.

Em was stabbed - whaaat ARGH.
Oh, I hope Cal finds her in time - he arrived at the house, you could see the lights of his car.

(The last scene reminded me so much of Castle's last episode, with Emily lying there on floor bleeding.)

Man, Gunnarson. I'm so suspicious of her.

And Nick being taken - wow. I assume from the people of the organ harvesting ring (omg, my first thought was 'Castle would love this').

I guess this season it's Emily's turn to worry about a missing (loved?) person.

Jack - it was hard to see Emily sap him, but I don't blame her.

But it was nice to see a family dinner.
And the talk between Warren and Emily

^I did too, I was glad to see a bit more of him and Flynn ya know? Two very important characters that we didn’t get much of but seeing all of the seasons now it also makes sense ya know?
