Thanks for the thread

Already the last episode

So curious who took her. I hope we learn the WHY?, too.

dorkalot 11-18-2017 05:47 PM

Thanks for the thread!

I can't believe we are already in the last episode!

Sandy0401 11-18-2017 08:20 PM

I agree, Kathrin. I'm so excited to find out who and why.

Can't believe its been ten weeks already . It seemed to drag while waiting for it to air and now it goes so fast.

broken melody 11-19-2017 02:52 AM

You're welcome

I accidentally read a huge spoiler while I looked for the episode description last night

Copop 11-19-2017 03:14 AM

Oh no, Ingrid, that sucks. I'm sorry

I will avoid all social media on Monday evening and Tuesday until I've seen the episode. I do not wanna be spoiled on who held Emily!

broken melody 11-19-2017 04:34 AM

Yeah I'm so upset :pout:

I always avoid social media too but some people have already watched all the episodes.

Copop 11-19-2017 04:48 AM

Yeah, in Russia all of them already aired.

broken melody 11-21-2017 12:59 PM

This episode

I can't believe it was the reporter! That was a great twist.

I can't say the ending surprised me, I had a feeling it was true when the reporter said Emily killed Harlow.

I actually like Emily/Tommy so much better than Emily/Nick.

Copop 11-21-2017 01:18 PM

It really is the reporter! Wow, you guys had her pegged right!

Ingrid, I know about killing Harlow - although, that might be a storyline for season 2 - I mean, if she really did it, or why she did - Laurie (the reporter's name?) said she wanted to see if that childhood trauma can be used for making killer machines that react to triggers. Maybe that's why she killed him - she was made to.

The scene with Nick in the hospital - no idea why Emily forgives him so easily. Well, might also be season 2 material - not being so forgiving after all.

The scene with the captor telling Emily to kill Alice while Flynn is in the tank that's filling with water  Ugh, :thud: Intense!

Emily exchanging the report cards - so she gets adopted instead of Laurie... like Warren said, doing what needs to be done to make it out of there.
That she made another girl that mad to kidnap her later and torture her for 6 years is really insane. But, I can imagine it happening. The human psyche is a mystery...

The last scene surely sets up season 2, the main storyline probably. Finding out why she killed him.

Oh, when Emily and the captor fought in that puddle - I was hoping Emily wouldn't kill her. When she did, I hoped for self-defense and I'm glad it seen that way.

I wonder when we were, or maybe could have, hated Emily. Stana said something that we'd hate her. I certainly didn't. Hm.

On another note - I'm glad Alice is still pregnant.

ooooh, and Tommy :D OMG, he is so cute :D He totally has a crush in Emily. That's probably why he never really thought she was guilty  I hope season 2 will develop something there. PLEASE?!? :D

That's it for now

-x-Lilac-x- 11-21-2017 02:17 PM

CALLED IT!!

And wow, that reporter (Laurie/Logan) has some serious issues though we obviously know where they come from now but still, holding Emily for six years and torturing her and then releasing her just so she could see that her life on the outside was ruined too? Thats dark.

I was so mad at Nick when he threw Emily to the floor and held a gun at her head and yeah I know she forgave him (or said she did) but I do not.

So Emily killed Harlow (and Semirov?) but doesn't really remember doing it. I think obviously because we as an audience were following her on her crusade that it didn't show that but it's really worrying that she has it in her to do that. And she was going to kill Alice when she was watching in the woods  but then seeing Flynn changed her mind. That girl has a lot of demons, in a weird way Laurie turned her into her. Laurie was experimented on/tortured for six years, Emily was tortured for six years and both of them have it in them to kill.

That moment between Emily and Warren, gosh I love those two

And Tommy! Oh my gosh how adorably awkward was he? Yeah, I totally want something to happen between Emily and Tommy.

I can't believe season 1 is over :bawl:

EDIT: Aww, sorry that happened Ingrid  Spoilers suck :(

KalliopePL 11-21-2017 05:02 PM

So, was it Emily who killed Harlow after all? Looks like it judging by the last scene...
Can't wait for season 2 now. Personally I hope that something happens to Alice and she dies, so Emily and Nick are back together and raise Flynn together. Emily is Flynn's mother and it should be her with him, not Alice.

dorkalot 11-21-2017 07:46 PM

 WOW :jaw_drop:

Okay, seriously, though! OMG!

This episode was everything a finale should be!

I still can't believe it was the reporter. I never gave her a second thought after her brief scene in the first episode.

She's messed up! How anyone could do that to a person is demented!

I agree about Emily/Tommy. I want that to happen! Nick is just unredeemable to me.

I never doubted there was a possibility that Emily actually did kill Harlow, I just didn't want it to be true.

The whole showdown at the cabin/in the woods was so intense!

I'm going to close for the final time and say it yet again: Stana is so UNDERRATED! This show far exceeded my expectations!

That was uncalled for. I think the final scene showed there's room for both Emily and Alice in Flynn's life. He's lucky to be surrounded by people who love him and would do anything for him.

Copop 11-22-2017 04:34 AM

Like I said - it looks like she killed Harlow, but I think season 2 might be about the how/why/really? Because I don't want Emily to be a murderer :P

Kalliope - your opinion is yours, but wishing death on anyone, even fictional characters, is really harsh. Especially in this case - Alice did nothing to deserve to die. In my opinion at least.

I agree with Ingrid, we saw there's room for Flynn having two moms. They will work it out.

For me it would be kind of weird if Emily took Nick back - he is a lousy husband. Sure, Emily has to deal with it - I hope Tommy helps her. Jumping into a relationship wouldn't be good either - over the course of the season there might be feelings. I wish so
Also helping Emily with the Harlow situaton I mean.
