It was addressed in the episode where he blackmailed Red. I think he understood at the end... They had this talk where Red explained it to him and I loved that. I think that was the moment he understood.

Yes, I think so, too... He understood and I think maybe he might be thankful that it was Red who got her safe. It's something he needs to consider. I bet he knows that when Red organized her disappearing, she will not be found by their enemies either.
