No she didn't really hug him back but like you said this time was different because now she fully went with it where as with the others ones she was taken aback and didn't really want the hug. This time she wanted him to hug her.

But didn't they show her before already and her reaction to his story in general was funny... As if she didn't believe one word of what he was saying. I'm sure she knew how crumbled he was at this point.__________________

It would be. So far we only had 3 serious moments between them. When Aram was at Samar's bed in the hospital in 2x05 after the got infected with that virus. When she safely arrived back at the Post Office in 2x11 and Aram hugged her and the hug they shared at Liz's funeral. But I would love a real, serious conversation between them.
