Yes in the pilot or the second episode he took a lie detector test (as did Liz) but I don't know if he passed it. I guess he did. When people believe their own truth to be really true they might be able to pass a test like that?

He once said in an episode that he can pass a lie detector test. I think it was in Mr. Gregory Devry.

So you guys, I had to
 this thread because I started re-watching season 5 (just one episode in so far though  ). I hated this Smokey Putnum episode. What a crap. Sorry but it's the truth for me. I think that's one episode I won't watch again (okay, maybe for the re-watch next year but that'll be it).__________________
