Kris, my laptop is old and it's still on Windows 7. So I think I need to upgrade already so it's all smooth and fast. I'm currently using a Dell laptop but I have no idea on what to replace this one with. Do you have any recs? And I echo what Donna said, Kris. My dad passed away last year and I still get instances where I'm reminded of him and it hurts. Be strong and you and your family will get through this.

Sorry about the dog, Amy. We can't blame her. They don't really know what's clean or what's not.

But did you end up cleaning the floor again?

Lindsay - I bought a HP laptop. That is a really good brand and my new laptop works like a charm!

Anybody got any plans for the weekend? Tonight I am going over to my best friend to celebrate her birthday and I think Sunday will be lazy day, Have no plans for that so far.

I as well have a Windows 7 one, Lindsay and it's working great still... It's very fast and I even can use Sony Vegas without any problems which means something, I swear.

So maybe you don't need a new one so badly

And no, I didn't really look into what's up to date when it comes to laptops... I'd want an ultra book, not a normal laptop anymore. But that's it.

My volleyball team had four games today and we won 3 out of the 4 and we'll play in a higher league next season

No more plans for the weekend... Gladly. So Miranda I'll have a lazy Sunday myself

I had a good time with Jade at the mall. We bought some things and had a wonderful lunch. Had some tea with a shot of Jack Daniels and strawberries in it.

I'll be having a lazy Sunday too but this week will be busy for me at work unfortunately.

Kris, maybe I just need to delete some files. The internal memory only has 2.62GB left and maybe that's why it's slow, now that I think about it.

Besides, this laptop was given my my dad so it has a sentimental value to me. Wow, 4 games in one day? That must have been exhausting but fun nonetheless.

Well it didn't turn out to be a real lazy Sunday for me. My cousin came over and we went out for drinks because the weather was amazing today. The sun was shining the entire day so we enjoyed that. We also grabbed a bit to eat and now I am home again. Goint to post here a bit, watch some tv and go to sleep. I hope everybody had a great day!

Wow, Donna, that teas sounds delicious. Although I wouldn't drink it since I don't drink alcohol.

Lindsay, that could be it... Only between 2 and 3 GB of memory left? How many GB do you have on your laptop? I've got a 500 GM internal memory so that would require tons of files to get it filled up that much.

The games really were exhausting but it was okay.

Miranda, sounds as if you had a great day. Mine wasn't too lazy either.

But with such great weather it's totally okay

They have a non-alcoholic version of the tea too. Jade had that with her meal, I had a Diet Coke. The alcoholic drink, we had 1 as our dessert.

I don't blame her, I was just irritated that I had to redo the floor again

On Friday we had really bad storms come through and we kept losing our power and internet. And our backyard got so trashed with leaves, tree limbs, ect. It's pretty rare for us to get a storm so bad we have to clean up the yard afterwards.

I hope everybody had a much better weekend.
