Naomi Hyland aka Carla Reddington was married to Red before he became a criminal.
Naomi and Red have a daughter, Jennifer, whose whereabouts are unknown.
After he fled, following gruesome interrogation by the authorities, she and her daughter were forced to move to Philadelphia
after being forced to give up everything and fend for themselves. Many years later, she married Frank Hyland.
She came back in Red's life after she was kidnapped by Berlin as part of his vendetta against Reddington.
Red made a deal with Berlin and Berlin sets her free.
Red arranges new passports and identities for Naomi and Frank so they can start a new life together.

watch 204 preview,Naomi knows Liz and her mysterious background.I have no idea how long she will stay in the show.She had other projects on hand ,a miniseries and a new NBC sitcom.

^ I was surprised by that. For some reason I thought that Red and young Lizzie crossed paths once Red had taken on his "new" life. But maybe their history goes back a lot further than that. I can't wait to find out what Naomi might have to tell Liz.

I wish that Naomi had told Liz a little bit more. She clearly wanted to. But she still seems to respect Red. Afraid of him yes, but she doesn't seem to want to get between Red and Liz...

Yeah I also felt like she wanted to tell Liz more but respects that Red is keeping secrets from her. The question is of course what are these secrets???

I wonder when we'll see Naomi again. I feel like we'd have to come back to her soon especially if we get to deal with finding Red's daughter soon.

I hope we see her again soon too. And maybe her and Liz can have a re-do of that conversation where Naomi spills the beans instead.

I was really surprised that Naomi did not want a new identity and to start over again. She already lost one finger. I would have heeded Red's warnings about me not being safe and jumped on the new identity train. I tend to want to keep ALL my body parts though.
