Meera Malik joined the CIA in early 1998 and worked for much of her career as a non-official cover (NOC), stationed in New Delhi, India and various locations in the Punjab region of Pakistan and northern India. She also served in Goiás Brazil. In 2006 she worked closely with the Department of Justice in a still classified on-going operation relating to energy and non-proliferation. In 2011 she resigned to spend more time with her family. She had a daughter and son, age 8 and 5 respectively. She rejoined government service at the personal request of Assistant Attorney General Diane Fowler to work with Harold Cooper and the Raymond Reddington security detail. At the end of season 1 Meera is murdered when she was investigating the plane crash that involved Berlin.

I'm really wondering if Mel will join us in here a lot more since she so loves Meera and the thought of Meera and Ressler. She could maybe bring back for us all the great moments of the first season

I think I won't find the time until the summer hiatus... I know, it's strange to do that in the hiatus while you normally re-watch the latest season that aired but I think it's time for a season one re-watch. Not only for Meera but for her as well

I think it's time for a S1 re-watch as well. I have seen it twice now but it feels like so long ago since I've seen it and I would like to so Meera again.

It does feel like forever ago since she was on the show. So much has happened since she died. One of my favorite moments of her was in The Courier when she was playing a hard ass agent. I really loved her in the scene with the Courier. What about yours?

It's really hard to recall for me... I think I loved her the most when it was discovered that she was the mole and when she afterwards was helping Red. The way she snug into Cooper's office, got his work-ID and then snug it back in. I loved that.

But I recall which scene (scenes) you mean. She indeed was great in the Courier, especially since it was the first time she was out in the field with Liz.

It didn't happen a lot!

Her snooping around in Cooper's office was an amazing scene! I remember thinking in that moment when I first saw it what a b**** she was for betraying everybody but the scene itself was so great.

You were thinking this? Really? I was just hoping for her not being caught while doing it. Man, I recalled that when she wanted to bring it back she was almost caught by Cooper

Because he was there and she didn't see him right away.
