I don't think it's blackmail. I think Kaplans people called him because she figured he would side with her over Red. Okay and now I think he's bad again.

Or maybe she thought he would think this is Lizs best interest

I don't think Tom is a person that you can blackmail. He is an operative. A slick guy. He won't let himself get blackmailed and however tries to blackmail him will regret that I think.

But I still don't know why Kaplan chose him.

So what would you do with a suitcase full of bones? I'd hate to be tom. I wonder if he even knows he was talking to kaplans person. How involved is he in all this?

I am sure that he got instructions what to do with the bones. Kaplan can't risk it to not give him instructions. Who knows what Tom is going to do. I definitly wouldn't know what to do with it.

I really have no clue how involved he is in it.

Marilyn, that's the problem... You want him to be bad again I don't see a reason why he would keep it a secret from Liz at all because he was honest with her about a lot of things lately. He told her about not burning the passports, he told her about murdering the Major right before their wedding. Why not go to her now?

I think, first of all they would need to be identified... The bones and the person it belonged to. And you would need to know what happened because otherwise it won't be a danger to the Red and Liz relationship

If he gives the suitcase to Liz and they go to the FBI, the whole mystery will be over rather quickly. I bet the show will drag it out the whole first half of the season. Someone is probably going to steal the bones.

Does he even know who called him and told him to get the suitcase? We don't know anything about it yet. I wonder if he's been talking to Kaplan the whole time.

Maybe he is honest with her and they are starting to dig the secrets up behind Red's back? Maye that's it... The Keens working together to find out the truth? I really can see Tom acting like that after what happened with his father.

I just posted that I think Liz kept her DNA results and lied to Cooper. You could be on to something because if Tom was in contact with Kaplan surely he told Liz

I could see Tom doing that but I don't think Liz would go behind Red's back now that she believes that he is her father.

I really wonder who Tom was talking to on the phone as well. Was it Kaplan or was it one of Kaplan's people?
