I as well think that Samar understands Red to some degree... I think she might be the only one who does. And yes, Aram maybe but it's Samar who is working for him, who is going by his moral code and understands loyalty as well. At least in the sense of being loyal to those that have been there for her.

I think their moral code is similar. I liked when she said the task force is her team now and her loyalty is to them. Wow, she said that and now I'm thinking about Liz's fake death. Another reason she took it so badly.

I totally agree with you Marilyn. Their moral code is the same and I never thought about it that is probably the reason why Samar took Liz's death it so bad.

But she said this and nevertheless ran the operation with Mossad on US soil...

I really don't know. For sure she didn't harm the task force but loyalty looks different.

Maybe she's like Red. Between a rock and a hard place with her loyalty. She is loyal to the task force. But she is also loyal to Mossad and this time it conflicted.

I guess she did kind of. But since I re-watched the episode I realized that Cooper only told her that she shall she decide for the task force, she wasn't allowed to do something like that behind his back. I guess it's not impossible for her run operations for Mossad, she just would have to fill Cooper in.
