Yeah she has a Meera vibe but with just a tiny bit more spice to her. Or maybe playfulness? She's a bit more coy whereas Meera stayed guarded throughout.

Good observation. I thought Meera was like Donald, too uptight. Samar isn't that uptight, I think.

Yeah that's true. She also shared a few moments with Donald that seemed to underscore their similarities. So far Samar definitely doesn't seem uptight.

I was surprised how quickly she joined the team. I didn't think it would just happen that way. But it makes sense considering the real goal of the task force and Samar's history with Red.

I would hope he would know! Since technically the task force is supposed to be a classified unit they probably do really extensive background checks before inviting anyone in.

Unless Red & Cooper had a talk that we didn't see. And anyway since Cooper seems keen to take her on, for now she's okay and doesn't seem shady to me.

I don't think she's shady either. But I was a little surprised with how little she's interacted with Red. When we got her original character description I really thought that would be more involved with him but now that she's joined the task force she's very much in that world so I'm not sure anymore about her and Red.

Yeah and how long do they know each other because to me from the first time we met her, it seems to me that they kind of know each other well enough. But now, she's part of the task force and I think something's up that the writers are not telling us.

Well she got into some trouble this week. Aram by her bedside was really cute. But I wish we saw more of her personality the spiciness that we got from the premiere.

I like that slo-mo scene we got in the airport where she finally sees the infected guy. And she was able to catch him only to get shot.

I like that scene with Aram too.

Yeah this episode was a big one for her. Although I hope we get more of her motives and personality in the next one. I still don't have a good grasp on who she is yet.

Exactly. I feel like they're holding off something on her. I hope it's not bad but then she does Red so whatever their plan is, I hope we find that out soon. Right now, I don't think she's shady and she really is helpful to the task force. After what happened, I can see Liz warming up to her more.

I need another ep where we get some proper SL for Samar. While she isn't dubious right now, we still don't know her deal with Red and why she's helping out with this task force.
