I do believe he worked in naval intelligence and he understood he may have to take a life. But I think he had to become this new person who was a killer and he always hated that.

But I don't believe he was dragged into it because of Katarina's assigment. And yes young people do make mistakes. I believe he really learned from that mistake and made sure that it never happened again.

It's Red we are talking about. Of course there are a lot more sins and I am sure that one might even be worse than another one but I think that he did what he had to do to survive? Or maybe they threatened his family? I am justifying the things he did or didn't do but it would make sense he did things he wasn't proud of to protect his family.

True, his family could have been a motive for his actions. Not an excuse but a motive that I can really relate on. Not sure what every single one of us would be able to do for our loved ones, right?

I think all of us would go farther than we know if our loved ones are in danger or when someone threatens them. I think feelings could surface you wouldn't even know you had in you.

And yes, Liz is his motive, the biggest for him And I have no clue how all of it is tied into his life. I would love to know the answer to that as well.
