Exactly... Ilya came into Katarina's life really early, by what we know to be in their childhood even. But we only saw him on screen after Kaplan had been in Katarina's life.

And still I think that Kaplan meant with a friend, who put Liz into her arms, Katarina actually. Because she was the one who put her into her arms first.

It was never Red and she didn't say it was him, was it?

I honestly have no opinion about her knowing who Red really was back then or not... I'd go with not as well since Red was really protective about everything and I doubt he would have told anyone he doesn't trust completely.

I guess we’ve rewatched the episode already where this convo takes place. But I could have sworn she says to Red “ from the time you put her in her arms “. Maybe not though. Maybe I just heard what I thought was said.

It would be funny if she thought he was Ilya as well and he really isn’t. I’d kinda love to know he played her for years.

I think it was just a random driver... I don't know why but the driver I really have put to peace.
