yes it is dumb what he is doing. if he keeps breaking the law, sooner or later the police are going to get involved and that is not going to be good for his job or his reputation. __________________

I had a look at the episode now and I doubt that there was a mic on the floor... I re-watched the scenes, the one where she switched the dolls and I think the mic is in the necklace. And what lay on the floor was the hand bag that the doll hat with her. So I doubt it.
