But it would be something different if they both would be taken hostage or something... There it was Ressler at first taking Red hostage, Ressler being shot and Red doing everything to save him. I would like for them to be an equal deal.

Yes both of them captured together. Red would be aggravated at Ressler and blame him. But just in that playful sarcastic way of his. And Ressler would blame Red. Then they'd have to work together.
