episode synopsis

In the explosive season finale, Scottie (Famke Janssen) and Howard (Terry O'Quinn) battle for control of Halcyon and the dangerous technology tied to Whitehall. Tom (Ryan Eggold) clashes with Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) as he makes a fateful choice.

Okay, just watched it and yeah, what I expected... Howard is the bad guy here.

Funny how it all turned out to be. Scottie really ended up in prison and everybody believed Howard. Except for Kate... She realized that it was Trevor and I new that this guy had a deeper purpose and there you have it. He's been the one who helped Howard to frame Scottie in the end. Damn it, such an ass!!!

I really don't know what to say now... Even Whitehall was into the plan. He has been working with Howard the whole time. As has his team of scientists. But I hate such cliffhangers if you don't even know if there'll be another season

Solomon... Yeah, he was right this time. He trusted Scottie.

So Scottie knew all the time about Howard's plans and that's why she got him removed from the board, right? Because she was the one who wanted to prevent this to happen.

Nez and Tom

These two are really great together and I love that he considers her to be like a sister

Tom and Scottie... This relationship

I really feel sad for Scottie now because Tom really hurt her. She was still mourning her son and he knows it, he really does... And still he kind of banned her from his life. Oh wow, he is going to regret that.

Howard though... It's really sick how he played them all

And even Tom bonded with him, he invited his father to Agnes birthday.

Yes, Howard... It's exactly what I imagined because otherwise it would have been way too easy for the TBL universe. It's so sad because I really liked Howard. But what does he want with it?

I really doubt that we'll get a second season of this show.

I love the actor like hell as well and was so excited when I heard that he'd portray Tom's father

Wow we were right. And tom knows it. I guess for the next TBL episodes he can be investigating his dad. I hope Redemption comes back. If not I guess we will have a Howard on the blacklist.

Solomon was right. Wow. I loved him quoting Moby Dick. He is such a good actor

Wow this episode! I really did not expect that Howard was behind all of this! I really believed him to be the good guy and Scottie to be the bad guy.

I always knew that there was something more going on with Trevor! So he was working for Howard! You know what struck me? That Kat while being stabbed in her shoulder and her abdomen had the strength to bash into Trevor like that..

It was so sweet when Tom told that drug dealer that Nez was like a sister to him and that he should stop giving her drugs.

I wonder what Tom's reaction is going to be now that he knows that he trusted the wrong parent..

I love Terry O'Quinn! He is such an amazing actor.

You know, it's always so easy to say after the fact that you knew it

But. . . I knew it

I loved Redemption but that was mainly because I love Tom

I really loved Tom & Nes

I really was digging Solomon & Tom, but the last two episodes made my vivid dislike for Solomon return. Still, a character that I love to hate!

During one of these last episodes I suddenly realized that it was kinda convenient to have this lover for Scottie in place who happens to like his secretary

And as soon as the phone thing happened I knew that that would get a spin later.

And as soon as Tom started calling Howard 'dad' I just knew that the show was going to take it there and have Howard turn out to be the bad guy

NONE of the revelations in the end surprised me, not even the fact that Whitehall was in on it with Howard (even though that was something I did not call

).
I'm not too bothered by the open ending either. If there's no second season (and I don't think there will be), I'm sure it'll be mentioned somewhere on TBL.

Over all, enjoyable watch. Nothing too surprising, but okay.

The episode where Nes & Tom went undercover in that Russian (?) village was my favorite.

But you know Solomon and Scottie being right made it easier to accept him. It was a good twist to have Tom wrong and trusting the wrong person. Although if he were back on TBL I would hate him again. I wonder if they will have a birthday party on TBL and have Howard there?

Gosh I hope not, I'd be okay never seeing Howard again

It did make it easier to accept Solomon

And I think he's badass. And that badassness is part of the reason why I enjoy watching his character so much. But no matter whether it be for the right reason, I feel like Solomon's constantly crossing lines
