Rewatched Esteban and hearing Dembe tell kate that he doesn’t agree with what she did. He could see how wrong she was.

Oh yes, I loved the fact, too, that Dembe told her what he thought and that he thought her wrong in the first place. But I guess he didn't expect Red to kill her, right?

I can’t imagine he didn’t think Red would kill her. He knows him very well. It’s hard for me to think dembe didn’t expect it. He may not have wanted him too but he has to have thought it.

No, I don't think that he ever imagined that Red would kill Kaplan. They knew the strong bond they had. But Red did it anyway.

For me it was a surprise that Dembe was surprised about Red's actions... It's what I expected right away, even though I knew how close he was with Kaplan.

I agree kris. I thought he understood even if he was hurt at Kaplan’s death. But then to have him so remorseful and feeling bad about it was a surprise to me. I thought he should not have felt that way. He knew Kaplan betrayed and really almost destroyed Red.
