Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website. As we want every board to have their own unique look it is preferable that you do not link to the customisations of other boards as suggested colour schemes.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Mel, Chelle, or Rora a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes approximately two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have finished making the graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Miranda, thanks for bringing all the pictures over here. But yeah, what do you guys think... Shall we keep Samar and Tom in the banner or not?

Is season 3 your most recent cast photos?

That's such a shame. Are there no more recent pictures even of select characters like Red?

We get "new" posters every year but even for those they always use the same images.

And most of them haven't changed much expect for Liz with her hair.

I would say keep Samar in it and leave Tom out of it but maybe we should leave them both out cause what makes Samar more than Tom.. but what do you think Kris and Marilyn?

and what about colors?

Either we leave them both out or in... Normally we should leave them out since they are not on the show anymore

I'm still for some pastel turquoise and some other pastel colors to combine it with.

I really love the first color scheme! It looks fantastic and correctly combined I'm sure it might look really good. But I need the opinion of one of the graphic team members on it. They sometimes know what works and what not.

What do you need an opinion on? Some of the suggestions will look nicer than others, some also may be a little harsh. If you're both liking this one we could focus on the blue shades for the board & have the brown/red shades for highlight areas (E.G. buttons, links, ect.)

Yes I changed the second link to another picture of Red. It was a mistake that I posted the same one twice.

So I think it is safe to say that we want to go for blue with some other colors? I think blue with brown could work but I don't know if I would like red shaded for highlighting if the board is going to get a blue color. I think it depends on what kind of shade of red it is.

We always need an opinion on the colors, if they would work, if they would be too bright or if it wouldn't look good out of your experience.

I'm not too much into a blue one... I want something warmer, like the color for example that Miranda posted up in one of her posts. The color scheme with the house seems so cold to me.

but the color schemes we posted so far have a lot of blue's. and I know there are tons of shades of blue so now I am a little confused cause yes Kris, I looked at the color scheme you posted and I like the blue colors in there but I don't really like the peach/pinks ones in it..

and what if we would go for warm colors? like red as the main color with some other lighter colors?
