Just rewatched Marvin garard. So we think Red knew Sam before he changed identity

I'm wondering how long he knew Marvin. He told Marvin about his plans with Liz. So Marvin has to be a trusted confidant.

Do you think he knew him from the beginning? Or sometime later?

I'm thinking later becAuse I don't think Red would have let him go to jail if he knew him before. But you never know. Red looked so upset when he talked about marvins son and we know how Red is about people he cares for

I really don't know if he knew him from the beginning. I'm unsure about it since Marvin had a family and everything... But this doesn't have to mean anything since he was a defender back then already.

I still think he got to know him later on. But I really don't know. I think Red would have helped him with his kid... This bothered me, really.

I think sometime later too. After the son died.

It's funny how Red telling that story impacted me this time. The hurt on his face spoke volumes. Yeah if Red had known him he would have been fighting for him.

Yeah I've got to stop being such a slacker.

Don't worry about that. It is summer and the show is on hiatus so it is totally normal. But we love to have you discussing the new season with us in January or before that of course. :D
