Guys, I'm going to update the OP with all these questions, too.

Honestly, I'm getting more and more confused. Is it really possible that Dom tried to kill Katarina? Is it possible that Red decided to help her, it all went so wrong and all believed Katarina was dead? Or was Red supposed to save Katarina although Dom had betrayed her first and then it all went so wrong and they all believed her dead although she wasn't? I'm really so not getting any of it.

And Belgrade? Seriously? How does that one fit into it? I thought it was just some stupid Luther Braxton things This show is killing me!

Braxton betrayed red in Belgrade.

Why does Dom blame red if dom tried to kill Katarina. And yes I think they thought her dead.

I think maybe Dom changed his mind at some point... I don't know. Or maybe Red ended up being there on other accounts and stumbled upon Katarina and her 'family'?

I really think that they all thought that Katarina was dead.

But if I understood it right, Dom told the KGB that Katarina was a double agent and betrayed her country? And he thought that he was doing the right thing by doing so.

Yes, Dom did exactly that. And when he told them, I'm sure she was being named a danger for them and they came for her to kill her. I think that might be what we saw in Cape May somehow?

In Doms story, we learn Katarina didn’t drown at cape May. His story happens after she faked her death. Remember Velov thought her dead until the incident at the woman’s shelter.

Ilya also knew of her plan to fake her death. He says something about it.

So we know Katarina had a four year affair with RR. He steals Masha. Katarina and Kate go after her. There is a fire. Masha kills rr. Katarina and Ilya get rr out of the fire.

Katarina takes liz to kate and says take her to Sam. Katarina faked her death at cape May. Kate sees the news article about it

Katarina lives at the woman’s shelter until she kills that guy. She reaches out to Ilya. They go to get Dom out of the country. We see Dom choose Katarina.

Then we see Ilya come up with the plan to become RR.

We see a man who is Red go into the bank to get the money. This same man hires iate to work for him.

So I think Reds backstory as well as Belgrade are out next steps in the puzzle. I don’t think we will get reds story until the end.

So it is pretty bad what Dom did to Katarina and I can see why she wants revenge for that.

So I think why Red got involved is key. I’m going on record that he’s not Ilya. And you guys will have the right to tell me so.

I still believe our Red saved liz from the fire. I still believe he was with Katarina at cape May abd thought she killed herself (even though there is strong evidence that I am wrong) I believe Red has a Hobson’s choice to save the woman or the child. I now believe this ties to Belgrade.

It appears Katarina talked to Dom about Belgrade and thought he was looking out for her. He betrayed her.

What I can’t figure out is Dom saying everything was fine until Red came along. And that red ruined everything. That is is contrast with red saying Dom betrayed Katarina. And he said it to Doms face.

I know that his story, Dom's, started after she didn't drown but she was followed by people that wanted to kill her before... When she 'was' with Red. So I think it could have been him who turned her in. Then she was followed, ended up in Cape May faking her death and heading to Dom afterwards for help because he realized that he'd made a mistake and wanted to help her make it right It's possible, right? And then later on Belgrade happened and Red was somehow involved? Could it be that it's two different things? Dom's mistake being the first and the second for him to help her somehow. He did when Ilya and she ended up on his doorstep back then and she was being followed then already.

You really think that after Dom's story Dom still set his daughter up? I somehow don't believe that...

I don't think Dom set his daughter up after Dom's story. It happened before and then he figured out it was a mistake.

Miranda, glad to hear you agree with me. I can't see Dom setting her up after she came to him for help. Or did he? Why would she want revenge now? She very well could have had it the whole time if the betrayal happened before her visit there with Ilya. Or didn't she know back then?

If it did why would she try to save him after the fire unless you think she just recently learned.

I hear your points. And it makes sense. But I’m still thinking Belgrade was after the fire and after she rebuilt her life. That’s kind of what she says in one of those quotes.

Omg I just had another thought. Remeber how Red tells Braxton that he barely knew hinkle. What if Belgrade happened to the real RR. I would be horribly disappointed

The more I think about it, the more confused I get and there are some many good arguments for Belgrade happening before the fire as well as after the fire.
