He was an artist... He killed and left the people like an art work. And he was painting as well. He was the one who painted the Red gravestone picture with Liz over his grave.

But I can't say why... It doesn't make any sense. He wasn't hired by Red because the woman with him was about to watch him. And like I said before, how would anybody have known that Liz would go see him again
