Am I seriously the first one to post in here?! That has never happened.

When Red said to Liz "It's no one fault. Least of all yours". Do you think he said that on purpose to make her think he doesn't suspect her?

When Liz told Jennifer is was over that was so weird to me. She seemed dead set on finding out who our Red is now she is just giving up after a set back? It is getting to hot for her with Ressler asking all these questions? or did she really worry about Red being a prison and getting beat up? Or does she suspect Jennifer of having her own agenda?

I am so glad that Ressler keeps asking Liz questions and keeps being suspicious! I loved it when asked Liz if she was really worried about Red.

Red and the rat. Red was so damn smart to put a piece of paper on the rat! I would have never come up with that. And at least he is in contact with Dembe now.

I love that Aram stood up for Samar to the NSA lady that Samar doesn't have divided loyalties.

But Samar not being able to dial 911 was so sad. I was afraid that she would put the operation in danger. Luckily she didn't.

And even from prison, Red is still the man who won't be messed with.

Miranda, you list the same questions and suspicions I had! It is just so hard to tell!

So my new fan favorite is Vontae. I loved the character. My favorite line, no one has ever had my back like you, not my father, not my friends, no one in here... and I realized that Vontae sees the man I see, that Dembe sees, that Cooper sees, that Aram sees. I have no idea why Liz does not see that.

My next favorite line is Vontae telling Red they are going to beat him up day after tomorrow. Lol and Red says why not tomorrow. That was too funny.

I loved how the pawnbrokers tied into the prison guy. I for one did not see that coming. I wanted Red to beat the guy up.

So now for my questions, did Red let that guy beat him up? We know Red is lethal. I thought maybe he was trying to be a model prisoner or something.

I can't figure liz out. She seemed upset when she had the first meeting and saw Red. What made me think she might be sincere was that she told the task force and even discussed it again with Ressler. She said Red looked weak. I thought maybe she did care because there was no reason for her to tell them he had been hurt.

And yeah Red told Liz it's not her fault but he had that look on his face. He's just not accusing yet because he needs proof. He doesn't want do that, unlike Liz.

Jennifer is so far over the mental cliff. She is obsessed and losing it. Liz said at least we found each other and Jennifer says it's not enough.

Liz that's how you treat Red.

Liz just seemed to give up then. And she says Red will win his case and be out soon. Does that mean she's going to do something else to keep him there? I also wondered if she might go so far as have someone try to kill him. She's already said he was weak....

We know Red had his surgery in Oct 1991. Wonder if they will be able to find the other patient. He must be a criminal too if he used that surgeon.

I'm worried about Samar. She's blaming herself for the woman's death. She needs to tell someone. I did enjoy this case. I didn't realize the FBI lady was a crook until she made that phone call. And by questioning Samar loyalty she was trying to blame her. Aram will fight til the end. Don't mess with Samar.

I think Red will get Vontae out of prison.

I really liked Vontae and his friendship with Red in that episode. Red knows people immediately, and he knew that Vontae was a decent young guy who needed somebody powerful (like him) to look out for him. Now, nobody will mess with Vontae because he's a friend of Red's. I think Vontae will be a key part of Red's organization when he gets out, and might even be a sidekick/protege of Dembe's (like a surro older brother/father).

Red proving how awesome and clever he is was a highlight of the episode (rat, string, note, etc), which leads me to believe that Liz doesn't have him fooled at all.

Liz, open your eyes. Jennifer is and will not stick to whatever plan you two initially set out with. Really nice to see Liz worried about being found out next ep, though things are falling into place too easily for her.

You are so right about how clever Red is.

And that's a great point about his feelings for Liz. All he had to do was ask her to take Dembe a message, but he did not. I didn't think about that

Same here!!! That's been my thought all along and he'll be a second Dembe maybe It feels a bit like repeat there... Dembe and him don't share the same story but Red taking care of them is the same.

Btw, Vontae is the actor from Agents of SHIELD

Ooookay... I didn't think this episode as good as the other three we got so far but I liked it. Red telling Liz that it's not her fault, interesting. I still believe he suspects her at least and is playing nice because he doesn't have proof and he will keep playing nicely shall he get that proof until he's out of prison. I don't believe he would confront her before. I can even see him playing her afterwards to arrange some things.

Jennifer, unbelievable. I really don't know why Liz was willing to give up there Maybe she was afraid that all of it would come out, maybe she really is afraid for Red. I don't know. I guess with her I'll never know.
But Jennifer telling her that them having each other isn't enough What's wrong with that psycho??? And Liz, did you see her reaction to that statement of Jennifer's? She was super sad about it. Another family member that would reject her

I loved the fact that we now know the surgeries happened in October 1991. When was it that Red was meeting Kaplan for the first time? I'm just curious... (Okay, just re-watch the scene in Requiem and we didn't get a date at all )

Samar... Man, what are you doing. I wish she'd tell anybody at least. She knows what's wrong with her and you were right, Marilyn Why is she not trying to get help?

I didn't see it coming that this NSA woman was the one working with the Chinese either... I'm super happy that Aram always knew where Samar's loyalties lie and that he fought for her.

The case was interesting regarding how the Pawnbrokers were linked to that prison guy And Red made his promise. That guy died not even 24 hours after being released. Sadly there was no message from Red I would have thought it funny.

The rat, soooo smart. And Red is staying in his room and is giving Vontae his.

Fave scenes were the prison ones. I knew that Red would get out of the holde he was in somehow, just didn't know it would include a rat . Fave part of the episode is definitely the friendship between Red and Vontae. They were lovely scenes and it was nice to see Red take someone under his wing like that. I do hope once Red gets out of prison, he'll help Vontae get out of prison as well, and maybe get him to join his gang .

Liz, I was just shaking my head at. Liz saying she is worried about Red being in prison and she was the one who put him there in the first place!!, I thought have you forgotten that Liz!

Surely alarm bells are ringing in Liz's head about Jennifer. I think she is doing some dodgy dealings to get what she wants..Just look into her Liz!

Samar should tell someone quick about what she is going through, otherwise it's going to get worse and could get someone in danger or more...

I thought the same kris that seeing Red meet Vontae was kind of like a flashback to him meeting Dembe. The same emotions were there anyway. But Vontae is so different from Dembe. I can't wait to see them together.

My fav scenes were the prison ones, too. Red and the rat really were unexpected and what a smart thing to do. He was right that the rat must know a way outside if it got inside and to put a piece of paper on it that promises the money... Nice plan.

Liz is just not making sense at all

I'm really wondering if Liz is hearing any alarm bells. I doubt that honestly. It doesn't seem like it at all, it only seems that she was sad that she wasn't enough for Jennifer... Anything else she doesn't even consider.

I'm so afraid that Samar will get anybody killed. The worst case would be Aram.

Aww, yes, Vontae and Dembe together... Maybe Vontae would be Dembe's Dembe. But I am curious to hear what he is sitting in for though.

OMFG, yes! Why didn't I have that thought...

I'm sure when Red 'leaves' the prison it will be with Vontae or he won't go... I don't know but I believe that he'll never let that kid stay in there on his own.

What do you think is the reason that Samar isn't asking for help?

I actually have this idea of Red winning his freedom, then exchanging it for Vontaes freedom
Especially if Liz learns about Vontae.

I am sure that Red will find a way to take Vontae with him cause he won't leave him there on his own cause the minute Red is out of prison who knows what the other guys will do to Vontae.

I don't know why Samar isn't asking for help. Maybe she thinks it will go away on it's own? or maybe she is afraid they will see her as a weak person if she tells them that she has aphasia?

I would love for Dembe and Vontae to meet! And I would love it if Vontae would be working for Red in any kind of way.
