Sooo true! If this line turns out to be false, I think that would be a reason for me to stop watching. Really, the show lives by that line, the fans hold on to that line... The one line, and him repeating it a second time in season 4!

I think Kate was a friend to him back then and the other way around. You recall how she kissed him on the forehead when she thought he'd be killed? Or how she took the gun and wanted to sit next to him and protect him in Leonard Caul? It was fantastic.  __________________
