Cooper and Red have a very intimate talk in the thrushes. I wanted to bring it here but didn’t have a chance.

Anyway Red is saying he knew it would be hard dealing with Liz when he turned himself in and Cooper says something like what did you think would happen.

Just the whole tune of the conversation again feels like Cooper knew Red was going to turn himself in.

I do not think he knows Red is an imposter or he never would have given Liz the old shirt.

I don't think he knew Red was going to surrender to the FBI or that he is an imposter.

Cooper: What did you expect?
Red: [ Scoffs ] I knew it’d be hard, but I… never expected that it would get… harder with every day.
Cooper: It shouldn’t be a surprise. You must have known there was a chance she’d discover Kirk was her father when you put him on your list.
Red: He was never on it. He never would’ve been if he hadn’t come after her first.
Cooper: If anyone belongs on that cursed list, it’s Alexander Kirk. Why the hell wouldn’t you put him there?

To me, that doesn't prove that Cooper knows. But I might be blind to it.

There’s always so much that could be interpreted either way like this conversation.

I also go back to S2 when Red seemed to know Charlene.

Cooper was so intent on helping Red this season. And all the other seasons with the exception of when the show list it’s mind.

I hope we get him the same way he was written in S6. That was great. He deserved those good scenes
