Yes, I think it was because of Katarina that he realized the value of loyalty, but now that we have been talking about Fitch in the other threads, I'm starting to wonder if he betrayed Red as well, even more than we know aboutl

I really imagine he did We don't know their whole past and since I can imagine Fitch being very important in the government of the USA for a long time, back in Red's navy days, I can see there being some heavy history that's coming along with a betrayal, a big one.

Yes, that's true And if I'm not mistaken, Fitch even explained it to Red?

But we're not gonna make it to the explanation. And you know what else is odd, red really didn't want Berlin to kill Fitch. And Fitch betrayed Red.

No, Red didn't want for Fitch to die... I'm not sure though if it is because of some answers Red was seeking or really because he didn't want Fitch to die What's your guess here?

I think it was both. Of course Fitch had answers that Red needed but Red also had respect for Fitch and I think that Red didn't want Fitch to die.

Hm... It's somehow been strange. Maybe he just needed him for something still Maybe he was a key to something or some connection point?

Maybe Red knew that Fitch could get him to the rest of the fulcrum?

I somehow doubt that because he didn't know why Fitch told him what he told him before he died... Shouldn't he have guessed at least if he knew that something like that was needed to read the thing?

Darn. You're right again. Red didn't have the fulcrum so he certainly didn't know what else he needed to "read" it.

So I don't know why he didn't want Fitch killed when he learned of the betrayal. Could just be that Berlin took care of it before Red was ready to.

Hm, me neither... But he had seen the Fucrum before, I'm sure. So he might have known that he needed this other thingy to read it nevertheless

Yeah, I think it really was that... Fitch would have died, it might just not have been the right time. Maybe Red wanted to understand his actions.

It's possible, too... Although Red got in there. I guess that's a good thing already.
