So it seems we have now entered the I-held-you-captive-against-your-will stage of the relationship. hmmm

I think I like it! I was a little surprised they waited till the end of this episode finally give us the "big reveal" especially considering many of us had correctly guessed what was behind the locked door but I'm hoping that the next episode acting as a mid-season finale gives us lots of answers especially in regards to what exactly Tom has told Liz.

Where do these go from here?

I'm not sure Tom is the type to give himself over 100% to the cause. And if he does tell her everything, I don't think he can just go back to Berlin either. I'm guessing he'll end up being more of a free agent or rather I hope he ends up being more of a free agent because it would create such a fun dynamic between him and Liz.

Why is Tom chained? I thought he was roaming around freely in his cell but he's held hostage now. And I still don't know why she's keeping him locked. Eventually he will be out and Red is gonna find out too.

I would love him to be a free agent or to go dark and help Liz instead. Or maybe he could end up being a double agent?

So here are my Tom/Liz predictions:
1) Tom will ask not to be turned over to the Feds, because he doesn't want Berlin finding out he is alive, and going after his family as punishment for talking.
2) Tom told Liz he loved her in the finale, when he whispered in her ear and Liz is FURIOUS about it, believing that he trying to manipulate her.
3) Liz will try to kill to Tom, but be unable to follow through.
4) The decision will be taken out of Liz's hands in the mid-season finale, either with Tom's escaping or with Red finding him and letting Tom out.
5) Red and Tom will team up to save Liz.

This is a critics on Tom's reveal.I agree this.Liz is playing fire,taking the risk of her career.I don't like this "Lizzie's secret" plot.It's unconvincing for me.Unless TPTB give us answers to how Tom survived from the gunshot,how Liz locked him up,did anyone out there help her?(I really don't buy she can hold him captive by herself in the first place,base on what a competent killer Tom was in S1) How long has she been keeping him? If the questions aren't answered,I can say the show will drop once it is shift to Thursday timeslot.

Eventually we'll find out how she kept this secret (from everyone) and how Tom survived too. It has to be believable for me to buy this whole SL.

I hope not but Red has not been fond of Tom. I think he knows (or at least suspects) what Liz has done.

But anyway, is Liz really "all by herself"? Isn't there a guard in front of the door? (I think someone mentionned him). I think it will be disappointing if she didn't get help from anyone, but if she did call 911 or some surgeon to help him immediately then sedate him to take him to the basement/behind the locked door it would make sense, to me at least.

And maybe Ressler really is the one helping her with that? Who knows? I hope we'll be getting answers soon, I'm kind of excited about that SL actually

Yeah ,there is a big black guy guard the room which keeps Tom.
Since Tom had severe gunshot injuries,he must need medical treatment.There is no way Liz brought him to hosiptal.Gunshot wound injuries should be reported to police in America?
On the other hand, Red thinks Tom was dead.How did Liz deal with the body?Did he ask Liz where she buried Tom, he believes Liz can handle it on her own? He didn't call Mr. Kaplan to help? .it's super odd.

At the beginning of 2x08 Tom asks Liz why she's never asked him if he ever loved her, and she replies it is because she knows the answer. Tom response "I don't think you do." I told my television screen not to play games with my shipper heart. But then came Liz's confession that, yes, despite everything she still loved Tom. The REAL moment of joy came in the final exchange between Tom and Red. Red clearly hates Tom, but he is willing to pay Tom off with whatever was in the envelope in exchange for Tom's agreeing to never see Liz again. Tom hesitates and agrees, but Red does not believe him, so he says it again. Tom looks like he wants to say something, but choose not to, then tells Red he kept their association a secret from Liz. Why does Red think Tom would try and see Liz? Why is Tom so reluctant to agree? Because Tom loves Liz and Red knows it.

I predict they were allies for a year between when Tom purchased the fake passports (I'm still saying for Liz, the baby, and himself) and some time before the pilot. I think their arrangement dissolved, because either Tom decided Red was more of a danger to Liz than a protector or because Red was insisting Tom cancel the adoption and Tom wouldn't because he wanted a family with Liz.
